 Once upon a time I had a home and a family but alas I developed this big lump on my head and I didn't look so pretty so my family took me on a trip to the lovely national parks and left me there. It was very hot and had no food or water. A very nice engineer found me and he tried his best to look after me but I couldn't stay with him as he lived a long way off. He found some nice people to take care of me. I was taken to the vets to see why I had this lump on my head and they said it could be removed. I am now living at Dara's Pets Hotel. I have had my operation and am back to being very handsome. Although I'm quite old I can still play with all the other nice dogs there. I am a happy boy but would love to have my own family to give me love and tummy tickles.

I am a gorgeous, young Ballady boy - Tripaw, Tricolour and Trying to find a home where I can be safe and loved forever. I was born into a big litter in Rowyset but it was a dangerous area and the people didn’t like us. One by one my siblings and I were all hit by cars - some of us survived. Months later when I was back on the street a car drove at me, I was flung across the road and left to die. I was lucky, a lovely man came and gently carried me to his car and took me to a vets. Now four months later, I am happy and well again - I am learning to walk, run and play with three legs. I have a place in the Pets Hotel as Dara said I couldn’t survive on the streets again. I am good with other dogs and humans, willing and excited to learn lots of things. I am still young and have been told that I can move on to a new life with friends, family, cuddles, toys and a bed of my own. If you have a place in your life for a loving Tripaw then I am your boy.

I was abandoned on the streets and ended up in a place called Rowyset in Sharm el Sheikh. I was always a good girl and wagged my tail a lot but my owners didn’t love or want me. I am a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. When I was alone on the street some children came to play with me but then they put a chain round my neck and pulled me along. I wagged my tail at them but they didn’t really want to be my friends. I was completely covered with tics and the chain hurt me - nobody gave me any food or water. I felt so sad. A kind lady gave me an injection, she said it would kill the tics - I wagged my tail for her a lot but still she left me. Dara and her friend found me and made the kids undo the chain. I happily jumped into the car and they took me to The Pets Hotel. They told me I was safe - I was so tired- I slept for two days. I had a lovely shower with lots of cuddles and now I get to play with other dogs and humans. I am a calm and happy girl and don’t feel angry with anyone. I would love to have my own human to adore but until then, I will wag my tail for everyone I meet.

I'm Chain Girl

They called me Chain Girl because some children put a tight chain around my neck. I was lucky because Dara found me and brought a big tool thing to cut the chain off. A week later I was Rope Girl and then Cable Girl - Dara always comes with food and water and saves me. I want a real name and a place where I am safe. I still love good humans but am scared that the bad ones will hurt me and Dara will not find me. Perhaps you could be my special human who keeps me safe and we can have lots of fun together.

I am thirteen years old and very good looking (in my opinion). I was taken in by a good man called Adel who wanted to help Ballady street dogs and cats. I had a problem with my eyes and was almost blind when he invited me to live in his villa. Now I can see better but the world is still not so clear for me. I lived with Adel for a long time and then one day he just wasn’t there anymore. At first other people came in to feed us but after a few days I only saw Dara and Abdul. They fed us and cleaned, some of the cats found homes and we waited. I was with my two friends, Gee and Adele - we waited. About six months ago, Dara took us in her car and said we could come and live at the Pets Hotel as we had to leave our villa. I know I am too old to find a home but if you want to visit me I am cuddly and kind. Maybe you could bring me a treat or donate some money for me to have a special dinner.

My name is Adele in honour of the man who saved my friends and I - his name was Adel. He found me on the street when I was young, I was born with a bad back leg and found life difficult. Now I can walk well and you can hardly tell that I am not perfect. Adel died last year, it still makes me sad, he was good to us. Now I live in The Pets Hotel - Dara says I am a very easy and lovely girl and deserve a good home so I am hoping, every day, that someone will pick me. I know I would be a perfect dog in my own home - I am very loving and would always make you smile. I am happy to live with other dogs.

I am not young but as you know Bosch machines go on forever. I know all about this as I live in the industrial area of Sharm El Sheikh outside a shop that sells machines of all kinds. The shop owners sometimes leave me water but Dara comes every day with food for me and my friends. My friends are cats and they often push me out of the way and eat my food - I am happy to share with them. It is a hard life out on the street - at least I have cat friends and Dara. I know I am not beautiful like some of the other young dogs but I am calm, kind and loyal. If you want to be my friend or even invite me into your life, please tell Dara and she will help me to find you.

My name is Tiny Ryne - Dara said I have two names because I am special. I live in Rowyset, on the street with lots of big dog friends and funny cats who are even smaller than I am. Dara comes to feed us every day but sometimes the big dogs eat my food without even asking. I love everyone and it makes me so happy when Dara picks me up and cuddles me. I have a slightly damaged paw - it has always been like that - but it doesn't stop me from running and playing. I am not unhappy but it is difficult to feel safe out here on the street. If a lovely human would like to share their life with me, I would be the best dog and the luckiest dog in the whole world.

I am a lovely, active cat - even though I was born with deformed front legs, I can run, jump and climb like the other cats. When I was a kitten, a kind man called, Adel, took me to his villa to live with other cats and dogs, most of us had some kind of disability. A few months ago our friend Adel died suddenly and we were all left with no one to care for us. Dara came and cleaned, gave us food and tried to find new homes where we could live. Sadly it is very difficult - nobody wants a disabled cat or dog. I am now in The Pets Hotel and hope that one day someone will see past my bad legs and fall in love with me for the cat that I really am.
